Desktop capture, cloud intelligence
The Mac drives the scanner and owns the original bytes. Identification, pricing, GradeIQ, inventory and commerce stay in your GCV account, so nothing is duplicated and nothing is paid for twice.

GCV Scan Desktop
GCV Scan Desktop is a macOS application for scanner-based capture of raw cards and graded slabs. It captures the images; your GCV account does the identification, valuation, grading analysis, inventory and selling.
The member download is not open yet. The desktop release is published only after signed, notarized build attestation and a complete scan-to-cloud acceptance test.
The Mac drives the scanner and owns the original bytes. Identification, pricing, GradeIQ, inventory and commerce stay in your GCV account, so nothing is duplicated and nothing is paid for twice.
Every capture carries a SHA-256 digest computed on the desktop. GCV recomputes that digest from the stored file before the image is accepted. A mismatch is rejected, never quietly kept.
The app never asks for your password. It opens your browser, you approve the exact Mac and the exact permissions, and the device receives a limited, revocable token.
Connected Macs are listed in your portal with their app version and last synchronization. Revoking one stops it immediately — it cannot keep working on an old token.
The desktop holds no payment credentials, no marketplace secrets and no other member's data. Publishing a listing, taking a payment and issuing a refund are cloud actions that require you, in a browser.
