These disclaimers explain the limits of what the platform tells you. They apply everywhere an identification, condition note, valuation or market figure is shown.
We do not authenticate or grade
Graded Card Value is not a grading or authentication company. We do not certify authenticity, assign grades, or issue opinions that carry the standing of a grading company's certificate. Authentication and grading are performed only by the grading company that issues the certificate.
Identification is a match, not a certificate
An identification is a best match between the images and details you supply and the reference data available to us. It carries a confidence indicator. A low-confidence or ambiguous match is sent for review rather than saved silently, and you remain responsible for confirming that the identified card is the card in your hand.
Certification numbers
Certification numbers read from a slab label are transcribed from your image. Always verify a certification number against the grading company's own public lookup before relying on it. Where a lookup link is offered, it points to the grading company's site; we do not control what it returns.
Valuations are estimates
Every value shown is an estimate derived from historic sold evidence and clearly labelled with its basis, freshness and confidence. Values are not appraisals, offers to buy, guarantees of resale price, insurance settlements, or financial advice. Where evidence is insufficient, contradictory or stale, the platform withholds a value rather than guessing.
Comparable sales
Comparable sales are drawn from publicly reported sold results. Reported results can contain errors, cancelled transactions, private-treaty prices and mismatched variations. We exclude comparables we can identify as mismatched or anomalous and show the exclusions, but we cannot warrant the accuracy or completeness of third-party sold data.
Derived figures
Quick-sale and replacement figures are simple derivations of the canonical value and are shown only when that canonical value is present and verified. They are illustrative planning figures, not quotes.
Condition assessments
Any condition observation made from your photographs describes what is visible in those images at that resolution. It is not an inspection of the physical card and does not predict a grading outcome.
Marketplace and integration data
Listing, order, fee and payout information reflects what the connected marketplace reported to us at the time shown. Where a connection is not verified or a capability is not enabled, the platform labels it as unavailable rather than displaying an assumed result.
Third-party names
Grading company, marketplace and publisher names are used descriptively to identify sources and standards. Their use does not imply affiliation, authorisation, sponsorship or endorsement. Any authorised or dealer status is claimed only where it has been issued to us in writing.
Your responsibility
Decisions to buy, sell, submit, insure or price a card are yours. Verify certification numbers, inspect the physical card, and use your own judgement before acting on anything shown here. Questions can be sent to info@gradedcardvalue.com.
