Grade cards

Grading submissions

Submit raw cards for professional grading through Graded Card Value: intake, photography, declared values, insured shipping, status tracking, and return or resale.

Authorisation status

Dealer and bulk-submission applications with grading companies are pending. We do not describe ourselves as an authorised dealer of any grading company, and we will not do so until an approval is issued in writing. Submissions are currently prepared and shipped under standard submission terms.

The process

  1. 1. Intake form

You list the cards you want submitted, the grading company you want to use, and whether cards should be returned to you or listed for sale afterwards.

  2. 2. Photography and logging

Every card is photographed front and back and logged against a permanent record before it leaves our possession.

  3. 3. Declared values confirmed

Declared value determines grading tier and insurance. We propose a declared value from sold evidence; you confirm or change it in writing before shipping.

  4. 4. Preparation and shipping

Cards are sleeved, cased and packed to the grading company's requirements and shipped insured to the declared value.

  5. 5. Status tracking

Your submission record shows the stage each card is at, using the grading company's own published statuses. We do not estimate a grade or predict an outcome.

  6. 6. Return or list for sale

Graded cards are returned insured, or entered into inventory and listed for sale if you chose that option.

Terms and responsibilities

Pricing
Grading company fees are passed through at cost. Our handling fee per card and any shipping charges are quoted in writing before you ship. Nothing is charged until you accept the quote.
Turnaround
Turnaround is set by the grading company, not by us. Any timeframe we repeat is their published estimate and is not a guarantee.
Insurance
Cards are insured in transit to the declared value in both directions. Cover while in our possession is limited to the confirmed declared value.
Shipping
Inbound shipping and its insurance are your responsibility. Outbound and return shipping are quoted with your submission.
Damage and loss
If a card is lost or damaged while in our possession, our liability is the confirmed declared value. Damage or loss occurring at the grading company is handled under that company's own terms.
Declared values
Declared values must be accurate and supportable. Under-declaring to reduce a fee invalidates insurance cover and we will not submit on that basis.
Authorisation
Before shipping you sign a submission agreement authorising us to hold, prepare, ship, and where instructed sell your cards, and confirming ownership.

We do not predict, promise or guarantee any grade. Grading outcomes are decided solely by the grading company.
